"We call the KytoStat bandages "super bandaids" here in El Paso! If a procedure we do such as an angiogram that the doctor didn't suture, we will use a KytoStat which works great. Sometimes, we use them on declot procedures that do require sutures as the patient may still be bleeding due to heparin or TPA that was used. If an angioplasty was performed, usually with a suture afterwards, and the patient is still bleeding, we will use the KytoStat again. They work great and we haven't had any complaints from our Dialysis Centers here on removing them with water on their next treatment."
